Experiencing LARGE LARGE amounts of lag. Empty Experiencing LARGE LARGE amounts of lag.

The server started experiencing a GIANT amount of lag last night. I had done nothing and noticed no change. Other than an IP continuously trying to connect.
It is too early to say at the moment. But. I believe someone is pinging our server making it lag beyond belief. Until this is fixed server will be down

Well guys. Servers busted. The downtime I had expected is probably gonna be end up being a bit longer. Im still not sure what has happened once I identify the problem I can give a reasonable EDT.

Thats not the problem.
The problem is my router refuses to let minecraft through. It will let anything else into the port. Except minecraft.

hmmm..... try running a virus scan. and if that dosent work or you already did that. you may haft to either A. make a new server. B. lower all security you have. or C. get a new router. cause some fire wall or somthing is denying minecraft access
